How to quantify the Carbon Footprint?
Quantifying the Carbon Footprint of an Organization, its products or services requires a consistent methodology that allows for transparency and understandability of the reported information, making it easier to track and compare progress over time.
The most used standards for Quantifying the GHG emissions are:
- GHG Protocol
- ISO 14064
- PAS 2060
We follow the GHG Protocol which is closely aligned with ISO 14064 and PAS 2060. The GHG Protocol allows us to quantify an Organizations direct emissions, i.e. emissions from sources that are owned or controlled by it as well as indirect emissions which are a consequence of the activities of the Organization but occur at sources owned or controlled by another entity.
